Fall Into Flavor: Discover Our Updated Wine Selection

Lots of new changes are coming to our wine section for the month of October. You may notice that your favorite wines have a new spot, and that is just because we are making room for Decatur FC merch, as well as some of the WatchFest merch for the World Cup! So, if you cannot find your favorite bottle on one of our shelves, it may have just found a new home. We would be more than happy to help you locate it.

As well as new homes for some of our favorite bottles, we will be making room to bring in new bottles for the fall weather that is about to roll in. As well as the new wines that are rolling in, we will be updating our wine bar. We’ve even got a special deal for you where you buy a glass, and end up with a bottle to bring home!

The first bottle that is making it up to the wine bar is going to be a 2022 Bordeaux. This is a right bank, so merlot forward Bordeaux. Since 2016 they have followed the biodynamic wine making, taking it the extra step to ensure the juice is fresh. This wine is going to be very well structed and balanced, velvety, and very red fruit forward. Personally, I think this is one of the best value Bordeaux wines, and that it is quite the crowd pleaser.

The second bottle that is going to be featured in our wine bar is a 2022 Cotes du Rhone. This Cotes du Rhone is coming from a super small producer, so that you can taste the passion is this juice. All organic and checks all the other boxes to ensure this producer really cares. This wine is your traditional Cotes du Rhone style, loaded with red berries, herbs, black pepper, and a great tannin structure. If you are interested in getting a glimpse into the Thanksgiving juice, this little taste of the Rhone Valley is going to be right up your alley.

The third bottle that is going to be featured on our wine bar is going to be a 2024 Sauvignon Blanc, that is a perfect white wine to sip while the leaves are changing colors. This wine is coming out of some higher elevation, so you already know it is going to be very light and crisp, just like the air you would be breathing. It is aged in stainless steel, so this juice is going to have nothing to hide and let all the layers show. Inside these layers, you will find some citrus notes, maybe some green apple, and maybe some herbal or floral notes.

Lastly, we will be putting up French Pool Toy Rose. It is a summer staple for us, as it comes in a plastic bottle. Now just because the bottle is plastic, does not mean this bottle is not containing some good juice. Everyone who buys one of these bottles, is always shocked at how good it is. It is your traditional French style rose, with notes of fresh berries, and fresh citrus. This is a great bottle to close the warm weather out with, and we will be running a deal for a short time with this bottle. If you buy a glass of French Pool Toy Rose, you will get to go home with a bottle of it as well. This will only last as long as supplies lasts!
